Thought I'd try this. Opera singer (tenor) with room for rent in a no frills house in Columbia Heights. $750 a month with $750 security deposit. (pro-rated for March) Thought it might be nice to find a like-minded person to share a NOT A GROUP HOUSE (heh heh) with four other people. No common areas except a small kitchen and shared bath. Oh, and there's a great back porch where we hang out on summer nights. Room has lots of light, looks out to a nice private park. Good sized room. Utilities included but cable and internet are extra (because we need to wire for the room.) Other tenants work for non profits but I'm the property manager and as another tenant may be leaving soon, thought it might be nice to try to put a house of musicians together.
